This Schwinn sidewinder has been built up by IttyBittyBikeShop as a capable, simple, get it done commuter. For this we chose an older 5 Speed Freewheel, as we really don't have hills in Champaign-Urbana. This 5 Speed wide range freewheel is mated to a 2x Chainring upfront for more range in the terrain and loading-capabilities. This bicycle is built with friction shifters mounted to the stem for simplicity, future adaptability if desired!

26" Wheels with new Kenda Commuting tires. The 26" Wheel size allows for a typically wider tire, for more comfort and stability.
Room for a Front and / or Rear Rack! Making for the perfect commuting bicycle.
Brand New: Brakes front and Rear, Brake Levers, Bottom Bracket, cables, and housing!
Ready to upgrade to Cantilever brakes if desired (Cable hangers on front and rear)
